Village Orthodontics has clear aligners available to help patients of all ages straighten their respective smiles unobtrusively. These are a series of removable aligners that straighten teeth without the use of metal wires and brackets, unlike traditional braces. The shape of the aligners depends on individual cases and are made partially using 3D computer imaging technology. Each set is worn for about 2 weeks on average and should be taken out only to eat, brush, and floss. Each set slowly moves your teeth into the desired position. You will have checkups with the doctor about every 6 weeks to make sure everything is going according to plan.

On average, clear aligners are worn for between 9 and 15 months, with an average of between 18 and 30 different aligner sets worn during that time period. Again, this will depend on each case.
